Rachel Holmes is a British artist celebrated for her emotionally charged, luxury-inspired paintings that merge abstract expression with rich symbolism. Her signature collections include The Black & Gold Collection — striking portraits featuring the world’s blackest black with gold leaf — and The Carmen Series, an expressive celebration of movement and femininity through vibrant dancers.
Rachel gained early international success in the UAE, selling numerous originals and over 50 limited edition prints. She exhibited at the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr and Yas Viceroy Hotel during the Abu Dhabi Formula 1, where she was named the UAE Artist of the Year in 2017.
A self-taught artist, Rachel returned to the professional art world after a six-year break to focus on IVF and raising her two sons. This transformative personal journey informs the depth and emotion seen in her work. Relocating to Berkshire, Rachel has been represented by Kaizen Fine Art Gallery (2025), exhibiting alongside artists such as Timmy Mallett, James Kerry Baldwin, and Richard Scott. In 2021, her work was chosen by interior designer Nick Snow for a bespoke project in Salisbury, reflecting growing demand for her impactful pieces in luxury interiors.
